BASS PATROL NATION

I got my BPN Orange Storm reel on Tuesday and couldn’t hit the water until late Saturday.  I was definitely looking forward to putting this reel to work.  I was absolutely in love with this reel from the first cast.  I put on a light (3/8 ounce) crankbait and decided to see how far I could cast it into a 14 mph breeze.  To my surprise and amazement I was able to send it over 40 yards into the wind and 50+ with the wind at my back.  This is one of the smoothest and finest reels I have ever used and it performed flawlessly from first cast to last.  I tied on several different baits (everything from crank bait to heavy jigs)  and with only minor adjustments to the drop setting the reel performed the same regardless of the weight of the bait attached.  Each cast was long, smooth, and without hint of backlash.  In fact, before the day was over my son confiscated the reel and gave it his own test.  His results were the same as mine.  Both of us retrieved fish smoothly.  The drag was easy to adjust on the fly and whether light or heavy did the job without question.  This reel is one of the finest I have been blessed to fish in the last 20 years on the water.  It is compact, lightweight, and performs without a glitch cast after cast.  My only regret with this reel is that I didn’t buy three or four of them to replace most of my existing bait casters.  This reel is a must buy for any serious angler!!!

You hit a home run with this one!
